Our office uses digital X-ray techniques to obtain precise pictures of areas we cannot see so that our doctors can provide an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plan. Digital X-rays use much less radiation than traditional film X-rays and also allow us to show patients images in close detail to discuss treatment plans with them.
Images are used to detect cavities in between your teeth, determine bone levels, examine roots and nerves, and diagnose cysts or tumors. Being able to view important features of the oral cavity also helps our surgeons determine where to place dental implants.
Our digital technology allow us to store patient images and quickly transfer them to a specialist, such as an orthodontist, or an insurance company if needed.
