The Oral Surgery Institute of the Carolinas has partnered with Guilford County Schools to create the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Partnership Program. The purpose of this program is to recognize Guilford County High School STEM teachers for their outstanding service! The students at each selected school nominate their favorite STEM teacher and those votes are tallied by Guilford County Schools. The winning teacher from each school receives a $500 check from The Oral Surgery Institute of the Carolinas, to be used for classroom and learning supplies. This is the first year for the STEM Partnership and we are excited to announce the 2016/2017 winners!
Travis Wall from NC A&T Early College
Mark Gustaveson from Page High School
Michelle Wallace from Northern Guilford High School
Joel Jablonski from Grimsley High School
Congratulations for a job well done!!!
We look forward to the STEM Partnership for 2017/2018! Our hope for this program is that other business owners, doctors and lawyers will join the STEM Partnership and give back to the very important people that teach and mold our kids.
